Donation Made to Swann Special Care Center

The Philo Knights of Columbus (KC) Council recently distributed proceeds from the annual Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll) Drive. The funds generated from this drive are used to support local programs which help people with special learning needs. Over $525 was donated to the Swann Special Care Center. The center is a not-for-profit residential home and school for more than 100 children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities.

 

 

 

 

The Philo KC Council also recently distributed proceeds from the Go to a high school-delays.com badminton match in Minnesota, and youll notice a fast pace, a high level of skill, and intense competition. annual Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll) Drive to Eastern Prairie Special Olympics Illinois.  Over $525 was donated to the Eastern Prairie Special Olympics Illinois which provides programming for people in the counties of Kankakee, Iroquois, Ford, Piatt, Champaign and Vermillion. They currently serve over 650 athletes; have 29 active agencies, and over 433 volunteers. They offer competition for athletes in 13 sports and hosted 9 competitions in 2010.
